Shotcut not placing
Objectdock refuses to allow an icon to be placed on a tab
Wednesday, March 7, 2018 by Kashegan02 | Discussion: Docks
I have a shortcut on my desktop which I would like to place on an objectdock tab, but objectdock refuses to allow it. When i drag and drop all I get is a circle with a bar across it and the shortcut won't stay put.

Thanks for the help, tried that but still showing the circle with a bar across. Tried other shortcuts on other tabs with same result. It appears that the dock is locked to changes somewhere?

Right click on the dock and choose "Position" and see if "Lock icon dragging" is checked.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit.
The shortcut is for Rosetta Stone, so its a recent release.
Up until last weekend I had not had any issues with dragging and dropping icons to my Tabs. Don't know what happened over the weekend, no notifications of any updates being installed anywhere. Although I did lose the Norton Internet security icon and had to reset it.

Try taking the original file and drag it to the dock. Object Dock turns it into a shortcut. Than you can delete the shortcut file from the desktop.
