Dream file copies
Monday, January 15, 2018 by gevansmd | Discussion: Animated Wallpapers
I always download dream files to a folder of that name on my c: drive. I believe DeskScapes also makes a copy of each deram buried in a folder under USERS. Is there any reason for mne to keep my folder copies after the app has made a copy for its purposes? The only change I can see is the copied file names are all in caps.

- What's in this folder is all you need to keep , all other dream files you can delete if you want
When you download a dream file it automatically goes into this folder after you install the dream.

Thanks! I'd forgotten where they are stored. I wonder why the names are converted to uppercase.

I believe that after the .dream file is run its actually a mpg, avi, wmv, ect video file under C:\ProgramData\Stardock\DeskScapes\ExtractedData ie name of dream folder...
hope that helps but you still need the original .dream file in the folder that the program points to ie: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Dreams (or where ever you happen to keep your dream files)
or the dream will not show up in the program selection
