Sadly Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) has passed away at the age of 87.
R.I.P. Jim Nabors, you will always be remembered.

Bummer, he played in some real classic TV. He also had one of the best singing voices anywhere. R.I.P. Jim.

Being a Hoosier and Indy 500 fan, nothing gave me goosebumps like Nabors singing "Back Home Again in Indiana." I still recall my shock (and awe) the first time I heard Gomer sing. Gonna be missed.

Rest In Peace, Gomer, you made my long stay in the hospital during the 70's so much more bearable. Every afternoon I'd tune into Gomer Pyle, Gilligan's Island and F-Troop. Hmmm, some classic TV there.
Jim Nabors also had a magnificent singing voice that really shone, but his music will live on forever.
