My Sister Joan

Many of you may remember my sister Joan, she has been ill for a long time , it is with a sad heart that I tell you all that she has passed away on Tuesday night after a long illness . this is the copy of the family notice .... my sweet sister well be greatly missed , I still can't believe she has gone . WELSH, Joan Elizabeth (nee Clarke).
Passed away peacefully at The Gardens Nursing Home, Claremont Hobart Tasmania Australia on July 25, 2017.
Dearly beloved wife of Ian for 49 years. Much loved mum of Leigh, Guy, Louise, Dale and Donna. Loving nan of Markus, Angus and Peter.
So dearly loved by all who knew her.
Special thanks to the staff at The Gardens for their care of Joan.
You will be sadly missed and always in our hearts.
We will watch for
your bright star above us.

Thanks LightStar, I am sure shes watching over us and my hope is that she is with my mum (mom) and dad and other family members in Heaven

Thanks again evryone I am so sorry I have not gotten back to this thread sooner, with being away from the 25 august till the 14th october and moving its just been go,go,go. The sadness dosent end their I am affraid, a neice in law has terminal lung cancer and shes not expected to live long, shes joans daughter in law so yet another blow to the family...

I am very saddened to hear of your loss. Having lost my only sister in 2015 and my wife on Dec 30 last, and myself now diagnosed with terminal Liver cancer, death has been on my doorstep for far too long. It' is some comfort to know Theda, your sis and mine are free from their pain and suffering but is still hurts and always will. Rest in peace ladies, you have earned it.

oh wiz, i am so sorry for your loss too mate , man oh man what a bummer, you are in my thoughts and prayers too my friend, i always like to think that our loved ones are watching down on us saying i taught her/him that or we talked about this and that, and i believe we will see them again soon who knows the day i die im going to have a huge part in heaven
