'docklets'?
are they hiding somewhere?

(win 10, surfacebook, latest revs of all the stardock apps (i think...))
So one of the things i was looking forward to with objectdock was the 'docklets' - a decent weather 'let, some system info in the dock, etc.
other than the pitiful few that are included with purchase, i can't find anything. where are they hiding? plenty of skins (???) but nothing that DOES SOMETHING.
am i just misleading myself - do they really not exist ? 
i feel like i've been cheated...
i did find one dated loooooong ago that was supposed to give system info, but all it does is crash objectdock.
thanks for any pointers.
in lieu of these (should there be no such thing) if anyone can point me to any other app that will discretely display internet traffic, cpu speeds/temps, memory use, etc. i'd appreciate it. something like 'coretemp' but that i can line up horizontally...

I've been using docks on and off for over 10 years (mainly RocketDock and ObjectDock free), and yeah, docklets don't seem to do very much, though lately I've only really seen what's listed on the RocketDock website.
I'll second Rainmeter for more powerful options; skins can make rainmeter a tiny thing on your desktop or a full-screen application.
Having said that, Winstep Nexus, imo, is THE top-of-the-line dock out there - even the free one is quite powerful and customizable. I really like the weather module it has; it's on par with your basic weather widgets on Android, I think.
Otherwise, it's always seemed to me that a dock is a dock, dewd. It's for launching programs. I just add stacksdocklet and standalonestacks and that's it, while on Nexus I've added back/next buttons for WMP, shortcuts to Add/remove Programs & Display Properties, RAM & CPU load meters, and the aforementioned weather module.
