How to push the icon to left...LightStar's Talix Skin
Thursday, October 6, 2016 by GrandJury | Discussion: WindowBlinds
Hi,
I am using LightStar's Talix skin and I have an issue with systray icons. It is overlapping the image. I need to push the icons a bit to the left. I left it running all this while but now it is bothering me...must be something small right?

Stupid Microshit would be causing that issue, but I will see if I have that problem here to see what I can do with it when I have time kushalnagar. Hopefully soon.
OK, had a look at Talix 10 here and there is no issue like that. Are you sure you have the Windows 10 sub-style applied?

Tom I saw that as soon as you uploaded the skin. Thought you might have not seen the problem. I know I was using the win10 sub style. I don't think you have the Anniversary update but I do as many do. I should have told you right away. Sorry about that. I know Others test your skins and thought maybe it was just on my computer. Maybe they don't have the update either.
I tried it with a 70 w x 30 h pixel image and it worked fine. didn't have to change any painting margins.

How does one go about changing the settings? I love the skin but can't use it.

Fixed skin has been uploaded to the site, but it has to go through approval process, so I have no idea when it will be available.

I'm sure Tom will be in here soon. I'm only making this suggestion in case he misses this thread. If he sees it I'm sure he will have a solution for you as he may have just missed this. What I'm suggesting will at least stop the images from stopping in the middle of a icon.
Those icons are White and the color can't be changed. That is why with a light Taskbar a darker image is used in this location. Actually screen resolution and amount of icons can control this so the size of the image is very important. A different size image can correct this or a transparent image. Tom may need to change the image size so it stretches all the way across this area or image. A image has to be in here so you can't just delete it using skinstudio.
What I would do at this point is change the Painting settings so the image isn't going across icons. Has to be done in skinstudio. If you open it in skinstudio go to Edit Horizontal Taskbars/Tray/Tray section. Click on Painting at the bottom. Change the Left setting to 100 and the Right to 0 and click Apply. This will at least place it over the Expander and make it look like a button there.
