Why am I seeing this?

OK, as you can see, I am logged in.
Why am I seeing full page ads?
Please fix this.

Look at the title. It's talking about you.

I get this Flash video ad in the lower right corner when I browse the site, thus it slows down the page, it kind of ticks me off sometimes. It's so annoying. -- Ace --

OK, well played. Would still recommend an AdBlocker until it's fixed.

I had the same issue a while back, with AdBlocker installed! The problem is that in order to see the front page images on the site, which AdBlocker for some reason sees as ads, you have to whitelist this domain. You then have to rely on the sites policy of no ads to paid members, which evidently does not work all the time.
So the site has issues to be addressed, as usual.

I have seen that too. Well, only Stardock can fix the problem. My contribution was to bump the thread.

Must be the browsers that are being used, I'm using IE and I'm not seeing any issues. Actually the site seems a little faster than usual.

Not seeing any issues and haven't had any other reports. Also that doesn't even look like an ad that we have campaigns with as we don't use full-page ads any longer. I'd suggest that it isn't a problem on WC.
Otherwise, sometimes an ad will slip through, just a temp glitch in the systems.
Ad-blockers do not work well with the site, so if you use them make sure WC is an exclusion.

I use add blocker and if I set it so that it doesn't run on the home page all the images remain. As for full page ads...I'm using Chrome's latest version and have not seen any of them.

Not understanding that because it ONLY happens on WC.
I believe thet Lightstar and a few others have voiced seeing this at times as well.

I doubt there is anyone out there more 'here' than me.... and IF I have ever seen an ad of any shape or form it is because a site reset has inadvertently logged me out.
If you 'must' use an ad blocker [or any other form of browser hack] make sure you exclude all of Stardock's sites/forums from being modified, and make sure you are logged in correctly.

I don't use any ad blockers. No addons at all. Just Windows' built in popup blocker. (IE)
I don't see the ads often, buy they do come up now and then. Seems like clearing the cache helps.

An AdBlocker Is Worth 1000 Pictures (just kidding)
