What Is The Best Resolution For Desktop X Users

I am running a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
I am considering a new DX theme.
Is my resolution too big for most users?

I use 1920 x 1080 for my Desktop. Often I find I need to scale down for readability on my Laptop to a lower res like 1600 x 900. I think these 2 are in fairly common use RND.
