Wallpapers..which type do you prefer?

Sunday, March 30, 2003 by Iben | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I noticed the pole but I need more choices then the pole offers so I am making this thread.

I like walls that are of real looking objects set in real looking scenery,But they have a
supernatural look not of this real world.

What do you like?

A sad day in Green Armani history I have lost all my source files for my work on WC I'm so depressed right now that I'm suffering at work. Sounds weird. For some reason my wife accidentally deleted my read only, hidden folder...go figure. It's probably my fault for not telling her where they were at and that they were hidden

A total of 67 walls and such that I have made since November when I first started my obsession with all of this

I had been putting some on a cd rom but my burner crapped out on me a few weeks ago and I hadn't had the time to fix it or get a new one.

I guess I have to start all over but I don't have the heart right now

Hey @shu thanks for liking my work I love abstract for the simple reason that it gives you the room to be creative and I especially like seeing people look at a wall and get a different feel of what it is to them.

I can see from the current poll that abstract is the most popular form of wall and I never doubted that even though the admins felt too many abstract stuff was being submitted.

Anyway....back to the drawing board

Wow, that's a Microsft OS for you: being able to delete a read only hidden folder. Wow.

The funny part is that it ask's you if you are sure that you want to delete the read only _______ whatever you are about to delete, and even then the recycle bin normally isn't set to automatically delete anything sent there and I was hoping that my wife didn't empty it but of course she did

Sorry to hear about that G_A...
I hate to say it, but you should have had everything backed up.

I still prefer Surrealistic art but I guess I'm the only one here....

You're not alone JamMeister33, I, too, would have picked surrealistic if it was an available choice

I am still awstruck at G_A's story.

READ ONLY... doesn't that say it all? Like, don't write, don't modify, don't delete. READ ONLY.
Wheeew! to Microsoft!

That's really sad news. Last week I did clean install only to find some of my backups were corrupt. I thought I'd lost all my photo scans. Luckily they turned up on an unlabeled cd. Phew!

Fuzzy Logic suggests you try the 'delete wife' button, or at least get an update...

Green Armani...there are proggies around which may be able to get some of the works back for you, even on NTFS...I'll dig up the link/s...either that or do a search for 'unerase' on Google..

I had a few of you going...........and so much love and sympathy

I may not quite have seen the mirth if I'd just spent ages hunting down links for file recovery proggies.
Guess it was lucky for someone that it was 'sorted' in a timely fashion.

Fuzzy Logic suggests your wife use the 'delete Green Armani' button...

Forget that. I just hacked your pc and wiped your HD
