Sunday, March 23, 2003 by Wommers | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

when opening links in sdc threads, i get this popup 'server busy - this action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem.' i have tried switching to different default browsers with no luck. sound familiar anyone?

OK ...here we go.... open ZonePro and go to 'programs control' hit tab 'programs". Scroll down to Internet Explorer, highlight and click on options in lower right corner. Hit tab "security' and uncheck 'enable privacy settings'

IE Tools is an 3rd party addon...

It can cause allkinds of weird crap...

and SDC, WCB both make use of the IE engine from what I can gather, I know I had to switch back from Opera being my default before some serious issues ended with both the WCBrowser and SDC but that might just be my system....

no problem... I was hoping it said it worked. If privacy settings in IE & Zonepro & adsubtract are disabled and it still doesn't work, then we need to look elsewhere. Make sure you backtrack and enable IE to medium and adsubract to enable. Leave ZonePro as is. You don't have a pop-up killer enabled do you?

go back into Zonepro,Program controls, programs...scroll down to wincustmize browser and make sure server status is allowed.( If not right click and click allow ) If it is try using IE and go to Wincustomize site and hit links, previews, anything and see if anything faults or stops working.
