I'm not getting the option, when right clicking on the icon, to pin sks10 to the start menu. Has anyone else encountered this?

Works on Windows 10 with start 10 (remember to choose "pin to start menu (start 10)")

If you are on windows 7, try this:

Search for skinstudio with search function on start menu. Right click and select properties (keep properties window open). Now go to your desktop and right click. Make a new shortcut. Copy target location from the skinstudio properties. try to pin that to the start menu.

Hey Tim, thanks

I hate when I do that but I forgot to mention that I'm using win7. Not happening with older exe programs just this one.

Also encountering a couple of issues with programs that are older using the UIS2 format.

The pull down menus are not skinning.

The buttons (close-cancel-save) are not skinning.

They were with sks7 but seem to have lost that ability with sks10.

Dang you're quick, I can get a shortcut on the desktop but when I right click I'm not getting any "pin to" options.

I'm not sure if that is an sks 10 issue or a WB10 issue. It's WB that renders what you've done in sks but if there's screwy code in sks.....

I think I remember the trick. Pin something else to the start menu (like calculator or something) then change the target on the pinned item.

Nope, didn't work. Made the changes but when it was closed it was dropped off of the start menu and when added to the desktop, the pin options were not there?

Think I will PM Neil about the skinning issues.

Again, thanks Tim.
