ignorance is where most find themselves with new things and are at the start
of the learning curve another position one can find them self in which is only
cured if they seek to and allow it.
social skills, man, you either got em or you don't and I do not think any
amount of coddling, prompting or what have you coming from outside sources can
or will make any difference to promote a change positive in them, factoring in
personality, environmental conditioning, just plane old wanker attitude slathered on top a indigence with the common social structure seen as being below ones self and or station, being owed something as a self proclaimed victim to justify ones actions i an personally acceptable manner which can be lived with in emotional and intellectual comfort.
if that could be figured out, prison would be a thing of the past for many if
not most otherwise decent people who happen to lack the ability to express them
self without raising the ire of others to the point of contention.
nine times out of ten it isn't the one lacking social skills who ends up in the can either

then again, some people just don't get it because the best part of them was thrown out encased in a latex sheath...
not that I would direct such an observation at anyone, just a general grouping of thoughts compiled into a possible lexicon describing a totally failed venture in applying the art of communication when seeking something in return that is on the positive side of the bar scale.

you'll probably find this either impossible, or think I'm wackybobo, but being Dissoid it was a group thing and edited a bunch before fingers hit the keys...
there are a couple of really nasty teens and a couple of younger ones that had some rather crude suggestion for relocation of a computer monitor, genetic linage and dimensions, weight and live cell count of gray matter, amoung other things.
You should see when I order breakfest at Denny's and ask for toast!
"Will that be Wheat, White, Rye, etc...."
I just end up staring at the until they finish and say, supprise me...
Otherwise it turns into an internal free for all, ick, no I want, hey my turn..
drives my wife bonkers, all the kids like it though because there is always someone who can relate and talk with them because much of the past is relived as if present, though conditioning allows it to be put to the side for the most part so it doesn't get in the way of the present, unless a trigger pops up, anywho....
weird huh?

I know
actually, after time it becomes obvious if I stick around a place long enough, and, with this group of people here, I think I found something really good so I will be around as long as I can be

I really can not convey exactly how much and deeply I mean it when I make the claim that WinC is built upon a solid group of good people(s)...
and I am learning just how much it expands beyond WinC and into the global skinning community at large over time which is new to me and fantastic

as my son got older and into his teens he basically like the teens equally because he could pretty much have someone who was interested in whatever he happened to be interested with at that moment in time.
when my son turned 16 he definitely liked the oldest the best because he is into fast cars, motorcycles etc..
my daughter on the other hand is a bit put out with the younger boys because they pick on her sometimes and also hid her stuff because they refuse to play tea or with dolls, though there is a younger girl who does play at those things with her times.
people might not believe it, but I/we walked around for a long time not knowing what was taking place, just lost time, things would happen and people would claim I had done this or that, and I would be like, your nutz....
or someone I wouldn't even know would call me by some other name and act like we were the best of friends and wasn't it a blast at that party last weekend, yada yada..
i learned to just kind of be non-committal and play it off without speaking directly on a issue and keep my thoughts about it to myself.
thing is, I was always so many different things to so many different people, nice, friendly a jerk, mean, hallow and emotionless, goofy and openly joking about any and everything, sitting in the back corner quiet and just watching, someone that some people turned to when they needed to talk, while at the same time others being aghast at the thought anyone would talk to me in a personal nature...

mmmm...
anyone remember that stupid Elmo talking doll?
the first time my wife really started to wonder about things, beyond commenting on how I would and could just snap and seem to be someone totally different, (little did she know), I was working engineering remote wireless communications links for data centers, the military base exchanges, hospitals an such, well, I had been hired to be the head of beta-dev and installation/support working with Doug Karl out of Ohio State, he is the person who designed the first wireless nic/bridge for Lucent and AT&T years back. Anyway, as it turned out my main function was people please and appeaser. Wireless was new, installers were learning on the fly and I would end up going out to who knows where for who knows how long, checking and rechecking links and fixing them or fixing the routing and or bridging of the actual network so it would function with the link. the owner of The Wave Wireless had this silly idea that if you installed one bridge at one end of a link and the other end of the link and you hooked up the laptop and tested the link and it worked, the job was complete, get paid and leave. Even if the customer had no clue as how to go about making use of it, or even configuring the network to see it.
I was never home, one airport to another, two, three weeks in a hotel training people, redoing links, waiting on replacement Microwave heads, or SSRadio radio network cards, new cable to replace the to short or dysfunctional cable, moving everything because the installer happened to place two or three buildings in the line of sight path killing the zone ( projected cone of radio emissions coming from both direction to meet and over lap establishing the communications link, if it is clear you get the strongest link, once it gets dirty thing start dropping like flies, things like, oh, communications
)So I finally got home and it was Christmas time, we took my son to the mall and into this store and him and I walked off to the toys like we always did, didn't really understand it then but I enjoyed the time doing that with him. So we are looking at BMX bicycles and I hear this annoying giggle, and the next thing I know I am on the floor a few isles away holding this stupid reddish orange doll and my wife is demanding I get up and put it away, to stop it we where leaving... I was at a loss, did as she requested and right after christmas went to speak with someone, my so, the look in his face, complete and utter shock, confusion, normally he would have been rolling around laughing his butt off picking on me for getting into trouble, but he wouldn't come near me for about a week. then, dunno when really, it just kind of changed after fighting it for a while telling them there were liars, nutz, crazy if they though I was crazy, etc...
ok...
ahhhh
in time, when I feel better about it I'll post a link to my site about all of it... have to remind self to keep it short and to the point, but always seem to ramble because it all fits in a certain manner and seems to get all jumbled up and confusing if not kept in order...
