Anybody watch the fight? Etienne was KOed in 49 seconds in the first round. Mike was saying some crazy stuff after like he broke his back the week before, hehe. His tatto looks aight though.

I don't thing after what Tyson did years ago that he should be in the sports world doing anything. I even mean to the point of cleaning the locker room floors.

Tyson looked like he was in great shape last night. He was swinging well and moving his head nicely. He's not ready for Lewis and we should see another 5-6 years from him.
There should be some nice fights in the future and he could be number one again.

He's a thug, and a convicted felon. He SHOULD be banned for life from Professional Sport of any sort, and considering his history of Violent Crime, Boxing should be the LAST thing he's entitled to partake in.
He's such a saint he should be running a Women's Shelter...

Boxing IS a great sport IMO.
Alot of skill is involved and it's an artform.
On the street, you get anybody that knows Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Jujitsu or Aikido and they stand no chance against a boxer.
Of course, those I mentioned aren't really for applying your skills to drop somebody on the street and deal alot with the mind and body and coordination. Gettin into those to learn how to fight is the wrong reason to do it.
Still though, boxing does too and with both you learn to react with instinct without thinkin about anything.
You will never see a martial artistist win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

I agree....He's a rapist and should be exterminated...I don't think many people idolize him over here (USA) we just shake our heads....my point was that being a convicted felon doesn't necessarily make you a bad person..
Just remember - Oral sex is a felony in a few states (crimes against nature)...
As for slavers and injun killers - I wouldn't know...I immigrated here in 1971 (from Africa)...

I for one most definetly do not idolize him but it is fun to watch him in the ring.
Maybe he is an embarassment to the sport of boxing...I really can't argue with that.

Al Julez, I feel you. There isn't a man alive who would step up to Mike Tyson on the street. But he will always have a bad image for the rest of his life. Keep it in your pants Mike, you would of been the greatest.
