SYSMETRIX

Wednesday, February 19, 2003 by badblueboy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Can anybody tell me how to download the SYSMETRIX. What I mean is not the skin itself. It is where to download the skin to make the sysmetrix functioning and display on the desktop. I've read that is should be downlaoded to C:\Programs\SysMetrix\Themes. But I'cant find this directory.
Can anybody give some simple instructions advise and instructions. Simple explanation would do me good. I don't need sofisticated compu gurus which speak in their own language only. It should be understandable for everybody.

Thanks

sysmetrixs will create its own directory ,when you click on download button it will give you the option where to save the file to, make a note of default directory and when finished downloaduing open file from default dir...........

I've been wondering the same thing. i.e. Not how to install, or where to install, but where do you obtain the actual program "Sysmetrixs" (if in fact that is what I need to use the various skins produced for Sysmetrixs).

For download you go to the web page of win.customize. Left side (library).
In the top middle you find "About sysmetrix" and than you click on "sysmetrix web page"

Tried to click on the sysmetrix website and/or the download tab. My web browser is not working properly since I downloaded an add on to IE. Now whenever I click on a link, nothing happens. My work-a-round for the time being is to just paste the link into the browser. Can you post the link for me (not as a link but like http://www.sysmetrix.com i.e. spell it out rather then a little button link)?
TIA

I noticed that when I typed the link out and sent the message, a little blue button appeared. I guess you have to put the actual link in quotes or something? Or else leave off the http:// stuff and just show the website name minuse the net or com but show the net or com on the next line?
