I think Lanka's the team to watch out for Jafo. The Ozzies might be all oomph right now, but Lankans have the looks of an outright winning combination!!!

@shu- Kenya have just made Sri Lanka look almost second rate. Pool B looks to be almost a lottery now as for who will make it through to the Super Six- New Zealand look likely to miss out, I wonder how much they are regretting not playing in Nairobi?

Australia just took another scalp. Zimbabwe put up a 'bit' of a fight there and made the match watchable....but it's still looking good for the Aussies....

PooPs...I went to bed at 1.00am just after Ponting went out...we were then about 3 for 150, chasing 246....and this morning I heard we'd won by 7 wickets, which meant Martyn and Lee I think finished it off.
We did the first half dozen or so overs scoring around 8 per over...so it was looking pretty 'easy'...

@shu- Actually Sri Lanka are in grave danger of missing out on the Super Six. They are still to play West Indies and South Africa, and need to win both to be assured of advancing. A loss in either one might be enough to wreck their chances of continuing in the tournament, and neither will be easy games. Kenya look like they might just make it through to the Super Six round, 2 games to play and one of those is against Bangladesh, whom they should beat, which would give them 16 points, which is likely to be enough to make it.

Yeah, I read that. But they will defeat WI and lose to SA. That way, both SA and SL can make it to the Super Sixes.

Well PooPs, its nothing to laugh about!!! I feel sorry for Sri Lanka. Losing to a side like Kenya (I am not taking anything from the Kenyans) will do their confidence a lot of harm. Remember Bangladesh in the 1999 world cup? I bet you want to forget that particular match
