The following is a true story,
the names have been changed to protect the guilty:
Jed was working in California using a programmable calculator that
he programmed,pulling muscles
and blowing his back all day every day.
Jed had car,truck and home insurance.
The home insurance cost $250 per year.
The economy went into the toilet and Jed's income went from
$3000 per month to zero.
Jed sold his house and canceled the home insurance and moved
to slab city near the salten sea.
One month later his car and truck insurance went up $168 per year.
After getting the bill Jed sent his friend Fred to get eggs and
on the way Fred got stuck in a traffic jamb and rolled through
a red light at 1.5 mph and got a $600 dollar ticket.
That should give you all the "why" you are looking for.
