If we were all sure that the federal tax cuts of the
early 2000's was the right thing to do
why weren't they made permanent initially?
I think we made a mistake and now we are use to it.

When social security was started the country was over.
When medicare was started the country was over.
When the poor got court appointed lawyers the country was over.
When women could vote the country was over.
When anyone could own property the country was over.
When everyone could ride on the bus in any seat the country was over.
When welfare was started the country was over.
When disability was started the country was over.
When workers comp was started the country was over.
I could go on with this, but the country was over a long time ago
and we are an illusion.

Now that we have implemented the electron and neutron
we need to shield our selves from a possible solar flare.
After we implement the Higgs boson we will find out
that a trap door opened in Andromeda and we need
to build a shield to keep the Milky Way from
falling into it. Hindsight is 20/20.
