Thursday, February 6, 2003 by UBoB | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'll start this off again....

"You may be only one person in the entire world, but if you're really lucky you might be the entire world to one person."

.....now, follow this example, and please keep it nice.

The universe in a nut shell.

There are many factors that make it wet.
The factors are changing all the time.
Women don't know what the factors are.
Women can tell when it is wet and when it is not wet.
Women want it to be wet all the time.
Men built a computer to make it wet.

Have a sense of humor.

When comparing somebody to Ted Baxter,
it might be a good idea to listen to some bodies
radio show for a prolonged period of time.
I found it to be one of the most intellectual
shows I have found.

Instead of learning a second language,
someone should learn to balance a check book.

Cartoons can tell us who the media really
want us to elect, and in this case the media
could be right.

Ones capacity for love can only be overshadowed by their capacity to forgive...

Think about it.

I watched the moon rise tonight,
it has two eyes a nose and a mouth and it's smiling.

Balancing your budget in a nut shell.

Prioritize a list of expenses from most
important at the top of the list to least important
at the bottom of the list. Things at the bottom of the list
must be reduced or eliminated.

Example 1)
Using two fans I can keep the house between 70 degrees
and 75 degrees on an average summer day; Or I can
increase my electric bill 90% by running the air conditioner
and keep the house at 78 degrees.

Example 2)
I can buy one 10 oz. cup of coffee for $4.00,
or I can go to the store and buy a $4.00 can of coffee
that makes 54 ten oz. cups of coffee.

Other things that can be done include.

Buy an energy efficient refrigerator, this can be
the next biggest cost per month next to air conditioning.

Buy a water saving shower head and take one
shower per day in the evening; you will go to bed clean
and wake up clean.
Caution, you might have a bad hair day; which can
be eliminated by shaving your head.

And finally, Suave does what they're's does for a lot less.

This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.

Paper junk mail that comes to your real mail box and front door:

You don't order it but you get free phone books, flyers, business cards,
catalogs, coupons, magazines, newspapers and so on.
I get so much every week that I have to get rid of it every week or I would
be swimming in it. Multiply that times the millions and millions of people
who also get this stuff and in one year you could probably pile it up
into deep space.
How much energy does it take to produce this stuff, ship it to us,
send it to be recycled or send it to the dump?
How much material is used to produce this stuff?
Recently I received a free preview issue of a magazine that I did not order.
In this magazine there was an article about saving the planet.
If you want to save the planet, it seems like the first thing you should do
is put an end to all this Junk mail.
If you can't accomplish that then I don't want to hear any more about saving the planet.
