Start 8 Sliding Animation

Why isn't there a setting to allow only one type of slide-in and slide-out?
Why is only random allowed?
Can we have slide-in-from-left/slide-out-to-left settings?

No you're not missing something, I'm a clot who confused which features are in which Stardock application.
I meant Windows FX - it would be great if I could just limit the start menu to slide-in/slide-out animations. I find the random animations distracting when I'm working.

I am clearly missing something as Start8 has no animation settings in the app.
