Why aren't lists updating simultainously?

Nobody probably cares, but just wondering, howcome the downloadlists update completely on their "own" accord? (1-2 days after some other)
-Aren't the lists supposed to be updated simultainously ??
"Yesterday" isn't yesterday, it's 1-2 days after ???

It's called "antiquated" site coding Andy, and databases that need trimmed of old and useless stuff, and then optimized frequently. For instance, I just updated a free skin to Windows 8, upped it to the site and it got approved. Took 40 minutes for it to show up on the site, and then it didn't show up on the front page like it should have. I made sure I checked the "Major Update" block too. Sure wish they would do that new site they were talking about, but it will probably never happen.
