I see 3 of mine there, with no credit as far as I can tell. They don't have my permission.................. I've never heard of them.

Whoa! Did anyone notice you can download programs from the web site in question... now I'm not certain about, Full or shareware versions but I noticed that the Dashboard program available for download is the Compaq iPaq version of dashboard (only available through Compaq ). Even if they are not full versions of the software I'm not so sure that they should be available unless the authors have given permission.

I wonder if Stardock gave permissions perhaps? I'd be curious if that is the case (since Stardock has rights to distribute as they see fit all submitted skins) but with that said I find it highly doubtful since you'd think some credits would at least go to Stardock on that site showing credits/permissions of some kind.
Since the above case more than likely isn't the case...it's a hard point to fight/argue as far as copyright and warez issues when dealing with countries who don't even recognize US as well as other countries' laws regarding said issues. Sadly, there is always a way to steal. I hope WC just finally forces people to join or not get ANYTHING because it's just too easy to strip stuff from this site if one wants to be lower than low. Grrr >
I know firsthand how violating it feels to have copyrighted stuff of mine show up in some oddball place without any permission from me. It saddens/disheartens me but I've grown wiser at least about how things work so differently on the net compared to my own little beloved country. Until the 'global community' agrees to standardize rights to enforce copyright and uphold it by prosecuting those who choose to violate it...it's an unfortunate "free for all" rife with "unpunished criminal activity."
Our laws/morality etc. haven't caught up with the technology YET but I hope something can be done without costing us the freedom but it's a slippery slope...

AngEla....no, the agreement/conditions under which people submit works to Wincustomize/Stardock are merely a release for Stardock to host/display your works on their site[s] and/or in compilation CDs, etc....not for unrelated sites to steal our/your content and distribute it without permission.
Credits to Stardock or to the original artists are not sufficient. What IS REQUIRED is prior permission from the artists to be granted specifically to this site, which clearly is not the case.
Most, if not all of that site's content is stolen...but my Chinese is about as good as my Russian...but 'perhaps' their English is slightly better....I'll give 'em a go....

Thank you for clarifying that for me and others, Jafo (((HUG))). That is good news to me. 
I respect Stardock...I remember loving it when it was just a wee baby in diapers (he-he) and I'm glad to know they have maintained their high standards even with all the success that has come their way.
