Has the genre of poetry lost its charm? I searched for 3 days to find the poem I used in 'Kavita', a wallpaper but got no feedback...

Each dream is like a little death,

Somewhere in his world the same page is read.
I grasp a glimpse of what could never be
Then reality’s wave crashes back to me,
It takes me back to my unhappy place
Living without feeling his beautiful face.
Can you hear me?
Our paths have crossed in friendly days
Lonely nights, far away you must stay,
Kismet and destiny have their hand
God only knows what has been planned.
Death and life, happiness and strife
These lessons that strengthen the soul,
Hope and love, manna for the mind and heart
These things make a person more whole.
If I didn’t believe there was a master at work
Who has given me all that I know,
I doubt that I could have endured all the pain
And I know that it helped me to grow.
If you need a friend to love you forever
Then that you have in me,
Though my words aren’t always deft or clever
I will try to be all I can be.
Do you see?
I wish with less words and much more emotion
I could hold you and show you my love and devotion.
But dreaming and wishing is not what I’m all about
I want give you a love that you needn’t ever doubt.

I have no such problems you all, It is 1 in the afternoon here in Mumbai (call it Bombay if u must).So no sleeping problems at this hour.
We need some more contribution. Why don't u pen ur thoughts Sir elvee (we are in a dream phase of the poem right now, so you just might help us ).
And as for your 'poopy' Angela, flush the toilet after you are done. If u think it stinks, imagine our plight, hehe.
