Agree absolutely. What a job. Sheesh. Read a report in the Wall Street Journal once, about those guys that meet you out in front of the airport to take your luggage. At major airports, those folks can make 6 figure salaries, most of which is never reported to the IRS. !!!!!

Keila: yes, about 30 min. North of Carswell. It's not called that anymore. A.F. closed it down. It's a joint navel reserve station now.

WOM: born up in Riverside, moved in the military, stationed at pendleton once a while back, EAS'ed and decided i liked San Diego. been here ever since, so almost kind of a native, without the built up equity

Its just gone 0430 here in the South East corner of Australia and I'm still working!
Wombats are nocturnal critters but this is ridiculous.
I remember Carswell AFB, way back when it was a SAC base.
