ON the lighter side of F.B.I
Wednesday, May 21, 2014 by bodadog | Discussion: Life, the Universe and Everything
I thought I had seen and heard everything but this had me scratching my HEAD. The F.B.I is now considering hiring POT SMOKING HACKERS . They are considering this in light of the 2 states that have now legalized weed and many other states that have relaxed restrictions on the substance.I say WOW. Smoke pot and teach the F.B.I how to Hack. I'am at a loss how about you?

You go Mark. I had a father, RIP, that was an alcoholic and an ex brother-in-law. Both were abusive and I swore up and down I'd never become like them. Hence I do not drink, never did never will.
It wasn't so much that I became abusive when I drank, though sometimes I could become aggressive, but moreso that I became somewhat morbid and even more depressed... or I'd pass out paraletic drunk and wake up bitching that I hurt because my neck/back hurt. In either event, I was not someone to be around when I'd had too much, which was frequent because I'd binge until all alcohol was all gone. Sometimes that would be 30 375ml cans of 4.8 beer or morel.... other times it would be a 1150ml bottle of bourbon or more. Back then I just didn't know when or how to stop once I'd started, so I'm thankful for the trigger/reason that caused me to quit and reshape my life for the better.
I am, however, going to have a couple of shandies tonight. Tonight is State of Origin [ Queensland vs New South Wales] in our rugby league competition and Shaunna is coming around with her cousin and Steve to watch it on the big screen with me. We're going to have a few nibblies and make a night of it.
GO QUEENSLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"shandie?"
Shandies = plural, shandy = one. And for the record, it is beer diluted with lemonade to reduce its alcoholic content... which is the only way I'll drink it. I do it this way because I like the taste of beer but do not want or need the usual alcoholic percentage per drink, allowing me to safely have a couple of beers and not feel the usual effect.

That's cheatin'. Lol
Nope, not cheating... just being sensible. However, that doesn't mean to say I'd dilute bourbon or scotch to be 'sensible'. That is an entirely different kettle of fish and not one I'm prepared to indulge in.
Anyway, back to the FBI using people for its own ends.
So if the FBI is prepared to use pot heads to crack computer codes, etc, how do we know it isn't using sex addicts to help them crack prostitution rings? It just seems to me that if one logic applies then so does the other. Thing is, it could have much wider implications that could see the not so guilty [old and/or ugly blokes who normally can't attect women] being charged for visiting ladies of the night... or day, depending when they prefer to sleep. It would be a new source of revenue for government, fining the desperate and dateless, so don't rule it out as not being on the agenda.
Oh, and for those who think the supermarket is the best place to meet/pick up women, don't bother. The FBI is on to that one as well... not to mention a multitude of private eyes and suspicious husbands. So if you see some bloke coming out of a supermarket with a black eye and a fat lip, well you know what happened.

It already is on the agenda. Cops have been using their own to lure pedophiles and other numbnuts for some time now. Just recently a world wide child porno ring was busted and several dozen people arrested. Prominent people at that. One was a pastor, another a boy scout leader, a nurse and a business man.
Back to the OP......The FBI will do well to keep a tight eye on those hackers they use. Get one that's wasted on good weed just might decide to hack them just for fun. Back in the day I would have.

In many situations that would be classed as entrapment and the perp would walk. Fortunately common sense has prevailed within legal circles and that is not a defense where pedophiles are concerned. And thank goodness for that.
Back in the day, eh? Me thinks you'd still do it if there were a possibility you'd get away with it. Hmmm, all those secrets! The temptation, if one thought they'd get away with it, would be too great.... 'Edward Snowden' anyone?

He was in it for the notoriety. Now he wants to come home. Sucks to be him. Lol

What's the old saying... do the crime, blah, blah, blah?
Seems to me, then, he'll do some time if he gets his wish. Must be a bitch.... feeling homesick.
I never really felt homesick thus far in my life. I've moved around quite a bit, away from family and such, but I was always able to move forward and adapt pretty well to my situation. Even when moving from the UK to Australia it wasn't the big 'upheaval' for me. Others who did it found it too hard an adjustment or something, but I and my family didn't really feel the need to adjust cos we seemed to fit in pretty well from word go...and while some UK/English migrants want to go home [beats me why] I don't. It's okay for a holiday, but I've never felt homesick for the place... Oz is home now.
