Yes this was the same suite you are thinking. The thing is, after over one year of release, I saw that the suite was totally auto of date and I decided to update some skins and some new others.
For doing that I spent one week of long nights working on it and I was going to ask for some extra bucks for people to have the update, but while I was working, i decided to give this for free, trying to show my greatfull to the community.
Did I did something wrong? If you think so, please forgive me.

treetog? I am a big supporter of Pixtudio, and i would never ask for my money back because of something i paid for in the past that is now availible for free, and i don't think that anyone else should either >
I have happily paid for all three of Pixtudio's Suites and will gladly pay for anything else that Alexandrie and youself come up with, the Quality of work that comes from Pixtudio is worth every cent!

If you get ONE email from anyone feeling they have been 'damaged', then I would have to suggest many long hours of therapy for the person so 'damaged'.
People are in business to make money. It is the way things are. It is at the discretion of the person who is MAKING the money whether or not they wish to continue making money on a particular product. If someone happened to buy a thing, and then it becomes free... OH WELL... It's all about timing.
I don't know how many times this has happened before to me personally. Not with just the Pixtudio set of skins, but with other software. I look at it this way. You have not damaged me in suggesting that I pay for something that is as good as that, and then coming back and making it free. If I didn't think it was worth it, I wouldn't have paid for it in the first place. One can tell that it took a lot of man-hours to put it together and make it walk. I just feel fortunate that I had them for a while before those who did not pay for them got them. They say patience is a virtue, but I am QUITE short of that particular virtue...
BRAVO treetog. Keep up the good work. And, btw, great updates to the suite. Looking forward to other suites that I will probably pay for... (and probably be paying MUCH less than what it is worth, but fork over the money happily)

In Lord Vimal's defense, I'd say he was merely asking a simple, valid question as to whether the other suites might one day also be freely available. I don't think it was a complaint as such - he certainly hasn't requested a refund as others seem to have done.
I think people are perhaps confusing this thread with another...

Anyway, i'm not thinking i've been "damaged" as i was and i'm still a big supporter of Treetog's work (i think i've written somewhere over here, he's probably the best designer ... ) but, i think he did a "mistake" by updating for free what he sold about a year before ...

I don't understand why every time someone makes a complaint about something, they are

made a complaint about a company (Pixtudio) and issues related to a product that they paid them for. Does he not have a right to voice his displeasure at others receiving for free what he paid for?
Treetog had to realize that there would be some who would be unhappy with this decision. Whether you're doing this for free or for profit, we all know you can't please everyone. Perhaps
a public forum such as this was not the place to raise this issue though. I've bought all the Pixtudio
suites and love them. Personally I don't care if they release any of them for free a day after I bought them. I got the suites....that's what I paid for and I don't care if others have them or if they paid for them.
Another example of this is when several people complained about the XP Augustus "Suite". This
suite was something that they paid for. Granted, it is only one piece of the subscription package,
but a product they paid for nonetheless. As soon as people complained about the suite, which they had every right to do, they were branded as being ungrateful and non supportive of the community because whoever put this suite together did it for free.
Yes, there are quite a few senseless complaints made around here, mainly dealing with issues
related to the download cap. But when you have people who usually pay their way around here who are making a complaint, stop and think before you label them ingrates.

And I really would like the exclusive suites from the WC Summer 2001 CD updated like that (espacially Marinara
Personally I don't mind that the skins I just payed for are free now, therefore I have had them a really long time erlier.
But I guess there will be some whining about that nevertheless.
So, GO PIXTUDIO !
