Bug Report? Taskbar
Icons on status area are drawing partly below edge of screen
Tuesday, May 21, 2013 by andrew_wm_graham | Discussion: Stardock Support General
I've linked a partial screen capture to illustrate what is happening. Maybe there's a configuration option that would push the small icons up a few pixels, but if not, then I guess it's a bug? I'm using the Diamond skin, as you can see.
On the plus side, the install went smoothly, it's playing well with other Stardock enhancements that I use, and it doesn't break Otakusoft's DeskSpace.

I'm afraid not, Neil.
When I set this:

I get this:
which is even worse. The behaviour I wrote about in first post is when 'Skin decides taskbar size'.

don't think it is a bug, I believe that the icon size is OS governed, you can have small or large but not custom sized.

gmc2: the issue is not the size of the status area icons. The issue is that they are drawing partly below the edge of the taskbar, rather than horizontally-centred in the taskbar. The icons are small enough to fit in the status area, but they are drawing off-centre, too low.

sorry, a little confused here, is that the standard diamond skin, doesn't look like the one that I have.
but to answer the question, no, I don't believe there is a function within WB or SS that will allow one to adjust the placement of the icons.

Did you set WB to force a small taskbar in the config?
