Dreamscapes Win8 Problems

Hey everyone. New to the site and to dreamscapes. I have windows 8 and dreamscapes installed properly. I can also download wallpapers properly as well. But when I apply the wallpapers to my desktop, my desktop is just a black screen. Anyone have any suggestions to help me get the actual wallpaper to show up? Thanks.

DeskScapes is in trial mode DeskScapes engine does not appear to be running (Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.2)

Also, I recently had a similar issue, a simple uninstall using Stardock Central, a restart of system, and reinstall of DeskScapes 8 fixed the issue.
Also make sure you have the newest video card drivers installed.
