Subscribe autochecked when answering thread (RESOLVED)

I would rather that it be something that you need to check yourself.
Small thing but maybe others agree?
EDIT:
Resolved, Thanks!

Apparently this problem has come back again. I have been told that it was never "fixed" permanently , so I must have been imagining the last year and a half........time to check myself into the loony bin along with a whole lot of other people that have the same disillusion as me.
2of3 remembers to uncheck the box this time so he isn't auto subscribed to this thread.......

It is not fixed, the box is still checked and I do not have that option checked. I have also logged off, clear cookies and logged back in again. The box forcing a subscribe is still checked.

Correct. It WAS fixed, however after I wrote this in 2013. I bumped the thread as a reminder.

This problem has reappeared.
Some say that it was never any different, but that isn't true.
For the longest time, I have not had to manually uncheck the subscribe option EVERY TIME I make a thread reply. I would remember it if I did. Maybe others have always had to, but I haven't.
It is annoying and may also limit my forum participation.

Ok, you have the option to stop that here.
https://forums.wincustomize.com/account/options
Under the options tab, just unselect "Auto subscribe to new posts and replies you create".
