For some of us speed isn't the problem, making it to the finish line is though.

xfinity has a speed test? I didn't know that, I have xfinity.
Tom, you upload faster than I. Maybe that explains all those cool WBs....hehe.

RedneckDude,, so you upgraded your modem? or your internet bandwidth with your provider? or both?
We here in Canada have about 5-10 different speeds of bandwidth with Shaw Cable.
Wow, I got the image inserted finally, cool.
Cheers

Not that much difference Jim! You can use the xFinity test here if Comcast is your ISP: http://speedtest.comcast.net/
How the heck are you getting 70MB's download speed? Wow!

Something about docsis 3 or something of the sort.
Comcast is about to double my speed at no added charge, but they said it wouldn't happen here for another 4 to 6 weeks.
So, I dunno why I get that speed. Comcast tells me I pay for 15 Mbps. But will soon go uo to 5o at no added charge.
I must have gotten mine early...lol.

I got docsis 3.0 modem also. I went out and bought one after reading that it can increase the speed and it did increase my speed a tad. Something about it handling upstream and downstream differently... I must admit I don't understand it but it works.. oh well ![]()

Ok, xfinity gives slightly different results.
Results can vary depending on the time of day Jim, based on data usage, how many people on the Internet using that server, etc. But 70MB's download , even 64MB's download, sweet! I have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem too, but I guess it is probably the small town I live in, they figure we don't need that kind of speed.
