I know where the blinds are.
I know where the walls are.
I know where all the other various skins are.
I've read all the messages.
I've posted a few.
I've read all the news.
I've done it all at breakneck speeds.
The shine on this star is starting to dull.
Something new is needed to make it sparkle again.
Something funky and crazy, uplifting and fun.
Something spanzy and chanzy, crabdaboulous and zzlun.

Just bored and uninspired. I'll be back to normal in a few days....always works that way. 
Been putting in 16 hour days for the last few weeks and am just a little burned out.
The parents came to visit last weekend. Both are 70 now. It's a little depressing to look at these two people who always had so much energy, so much joy of life for so many years, and now barely have the energy to get up off the sofa.....is that my destiny?
It's too depressing to consider.

I don't think dsl has anything to do with it. Just means I get to be bored faster than most people.

You're right, working on a skin would definately take away the boredom. Now all I need is some inspiration to start the skin.

I think your poem is very close to the truth for me. I need a little action and some excitement.

Took your advice and had that drink.....it just put me to sleep. (Alcohol has that effect on me. )

Well at least some good has come from this thread....You finally agreed with Doreen about something.

There's no mystery here. I'm a member of the TV generation. A very short attention span. A few minute tops, then on to something new. It's not how long or how short a time I spend here, but how much variety there is while I'm here.

You always brighten my spirits. As I've said, I'll be back to normal shortly.
As for the 'speed of light' debate. I believe it slows down when it has to go around corners. (shifts from 4th to 2nd gear).......and, since darkness is the opposite of light then it follows the speed of dark is the opposite of the speed of light, or about 000,681 miles/sec. <-- (motion logic, got him through 12 years of school and 3 years of university.)
