New Guy On The Forums

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm sort of new here but sort of not. I've been a user of Stardock for several years (2005 I think?) and I have come to love the program. I've not said much to anyone since being a member here as I've spent most of my time reading over the forums and watching how people in this community behave and learn the do's and don'ts of the forum both socially and by Stardock rules. I am coming forward to introduce myself mainly because since the time I first purchased Stardock I have gained quite a few new skill sets both on my job and my free time. Things like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver I have become quite the expert in. I have also spent a lot of time learning languages such as HTML, HTML5, SQL, MySQL, JavaScript, Java etc. etc. and a few more. I have moved in my career from Technical Writer to Project Coordinator for IT/IS inside of two major US Companies, both of which I will keep private as their views and support may not necessarily reflect my own and I do not represent them in my off time...to which my off time is when I spend my time here on these forums. I really like this community and I am hoping to gain support as I take on the task, and goal, to become a well respected "skin developer" in the future. I've got the skill sets, I've got the creativity, I think I do anyway, and I've got the drive to produce enjoyable skins for everyone to enjoy.....and of course, as with all things, you can not please everyone, but hope to at least gain some comradery while here.
I look forward to learning this program and how to develop skins from you guys and I'm sure this will turn out to be a pleasant experience for all involved. It appears to be a great bunch of people and I've seen most questions answered quite quickly on here, so I am excited to get started. Wish me luck and we will be in touch soon. Stay cool everyone.

Based on your name Redneck, you may like my very first skin. I too have a redneck streak as I like fishing and own a bass boat. But my first skin I am creating is a Bionic, Machine-like Bass fishing skin. Liquid Metal theme with lots of Metal robotic, blues and blacks in it. You can view my profile and see the wallpaper I have already designed, but you can also visit LazerTrokar.com to see my inspiration. They have the "style" I carry in life and I love the colors on their website.
I'm holding back to release this skin for WindowBlinds 8 though. Rumor has it's due out first quarter 2013, So I hope to get started and I hope the program makes it out on time. I have been toying around with the idea of making a Rainmeter version, but I want to release it here at Stardock first.

I too have a redneck streak as I like fishing and own a bass boat.
If yer a true redneck, you'll know it takes much more than a bass boat and loving to fish to "qualify" as a redneck....

@DT - When you am not here my page loads fine. When you am here my pages get stuck in all the @#$#$%^%%#$ stuff you let play in the forums.
