Its not SOP DT. It was just a suggestion. So don't worry about it. You'll still get the answers you're looking for.  As for my laptop......I'm an early bird. My day starts anywheres between 3 and 5 AM. Been that way like forever. Besides....at this time in the AM there's a lot less traffic on the net. Its after seven that things start really slowing down. As an example it takes upwards of 3 to sometimes 6 minutes just to load a page.

Only thing I can suggest DT is maybe sending your .wba to someone to have a look.  If you have not checked Use Falt Menus and it is, the only thin I can think of is it has something to do with DWM on your system possibly having an issue.  I have seen where if DWM is not turned on, the system reverts to using flat menus. Of course, I am sure you have rebooted your PC right?

make sure "THis image uses transparency" is checked.

also in your code editor make sure that it says

Trans=1

Perpixel=1

BackgroundEffect=10

flat menus should be DISABLED

make sure the background image for the "Favourites Menu" is BMP

In menu bar options, extra settings make sure it is enabled.

Vamps, Thank you for the help. I did check the code editor and had to manually add the Background Effect setting, will that work that way, because I did all with no change in outcome?Where does the background setting originate from, I even deleted the code and reimported again.

Ant other thoughts?

are you doing it for 7? or xp?

it could also be just a skin glitch.... last month i had to recut perpixel frames and re import them, on a skin i was working on.. but i also had to start from scratch

with that skin and make a new skin for those frames to work..... (never found the reason why, i decided it was just a glitch)

could be the same thing on your end?

if you wanna send the skin my way... you can and ill see if there is anything you are missing...

 I used that messy looking A.D. skin I made and might have to start from scratch. I dont want to be a bother, yet, so let me poke around some more before sending the skin.

Also, any info on how that Background effect setting gets put in the code?As I stated , I did it manually.

Well, its fixed.

I deleted the" menu item" image and remade the image, and that fixed it. Must have been a glitch or wb was confused because I had extra images for that portion of the skin.

yeah you have to put that code in manually, it makes the background have a blur effect instead of full transparency.

ahh good to see its fixed!  im around most of the time... most times other people beat me to helping others.. im a bit slow in the forums at times..
