Nice setup Taz. MS looks at that and thinks....................oh no! Linux will get together with Ubuntu (I know...same company) and Buntu them into the middle of the next century.

This is likely the future for general computing in quite a few households.

I've been eying off a Gigabyte tablet with Win 8 full OS for $665 AUD. This model has a 64gb SSD, but there is another for $640 with a 500gb HDD, and another for $713 with more RAM, a 64gb SSD and a HDD.
It'll be a while before I look to actually buy one, though, given I've just purchased a new 27" monitor and a 4 bay HDD enclosure to upgrade my desktop setup.
