Just wondering..for those who have their own cool webpages.

What do you guys use to make those cool webpages to display all you skins/works. Where/how do i start to teach myself to make my own webpages as cool as yours. I use to make my own webpages using pure HTML but compare to what i see from this cool webpages, mine look like a 5 years old pages

So where do one start? What kind of apps you guys use and what lang u guys need to master

Macromedia's Dreamweaver is a really good program to start with. If you can get hold of a copy and just follow the tutorials that come with it, you will be bulding web pages in no time.

I still rely on a text editor and the w3c html validating service (though some of my pages don;t validate at the moment!) in the main, though I have been known to use 1st page 2000 from http://www.eversoft.com/ which is a good html editor which you can make do as much of the work as you want, has a preview facility like all the mroe fully-featured html editors.
html is still the most accessbile language of the web, and with the use of style sheets you can really get some nifty design going.
