Any Ideas?

Hello Folks,
I have recently moved to a new laptop and am now experiencing a little snag with Icon Packager.
On my previous laptop (which had the same resolution as my new) whenever a package was applied the name of the folder was always displayed underneath the actual icon itself, exactly as if using the regular Windows 7 desktop.
After I have installed on my new machine however, a couple of seconds after I apply a package, the writing disappears and only shows on mouseover and even then it shows in a very blurred font. I have reinstalled and also downloaded the packages themselves again with no improvement.
I use Icon Packager in conjunction with Windowblinds and Deskscapes and am using exactly the same packages on these as I had successfully running previously.
I have searched through the options/settings and cannot see anything about auto hiding text so think it may be a deeper issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Have a nice day

Thanks for the advice Skarny. I've actually bumbled my way into sorting it out myself. It seemed to be another part of the object desktop suite called tweak 7 that was screwing it up.
Even though I hadn't actually changed any settings within it, as soon as I uninstalled Tweak7 every other part of my OS reverted back to what I normally see.....
Every day's a Schoolday!
Anyway, Cheers for taking a look

The only time I know of icons having 'mouse over' changing behaviour is when 'turn on single click' or 'treat icons as hyperlinks' or something setting was turned on in Windows XP - it made the icon text respond to single click to open instead of double click, and mouse over showed the icon text as underlined and coloured in as a link would appear on a webpage.
There's an idea - not sure if it will help or be the cause or whatever.
I have other ideas too, but they aren't relevant.
