Windows 8 and Touch Screen PCs
Anyone else?
Wednesday, November 7, 2012 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Windows Discussion
Hey guys. I'm running Windows 8 Pro on a Dell Inspiron One 19T with a touch screen.
I have problems with swiping from the edges in touch mode.
Any ideas? Anyone else having similar hardware and troubles?

It has nothing to do with the OS. Enable all multi-touch gestures and inking? Did you calibrate it?

that's not how Windows 8 works. you're supposed to swipe in from "outside" of the edge. that means you need a monitor without a bezel.
(or give up a little resolution, some drivers support that)

I saw/see no options for either.

So its not true that it has to do with the OEM version since i had seen many topics that the upgrade version would not support it...glad to know its solved and working...

Yrag ALWAYS comes through. For anyone who needs him. He should be promoted.
In fact, I award Yrag for his expertise, prowess, finesse, and downright hospitable tower side manner:
