DeskTopX Help From A New DX User

You have seen me around a bit here, I have all the tools, most of the time just for WB's. I have now started using DeskTopX since I saw the port of UniverseMetal. OK, here's the stupid NEW GUY question. When I go to change the lable names in UniverseMetal it is easy by going to properties and type it in and it's changed. But say I want to change the names in Logika DX, I cannot. Is there something I am missing here? Now do not laugh to much on this one. And, Yes, I have posted on the stardock newsgroup for DX twice with no response.

OK, I deserved that one. I told you I was new to DX. I guess I will stick to WB's "which I LOVE" and all the great skins you all put out. It's ok, I have universemetal set up in DX, just wanted Logika as well.

Some DX guru will happen along and see this eventually - I'm sure there's a logikal answer to your question...

Umm. Could it be that the labels used in UniverseMetal are really labels, but the labels used in Logika are really bitmaps with text in the images? Just a guess...

Indeed, the ones in Logika are images and not text. My advice would be to create a blank (textless) image to replace them all with, and then add text labels to them.

Thanks BoXXi, I am just getting into DX, I saw the UniverseMetal and decided to try out DX. Up till now I have only been with Windowblinds. I do like DX, just need to play more with it. I will be getting with you, that much I am sure of. Thanks AGAIN..
