Is it just me, or does putting "XP" or "Aqua" in your skin title guarantee a high download ratio? Of the three WMP skins I just put up -- Falstaff, Falstaff Red, and Falstaff Aqua -- the Aqua version by far gets the most downloads, yet I think it's the worst of the three.

i guess Falstaff Aqua is the blue version? that may be a reason too. really interesting to see how many people like that color. on DeviantArt there are 3 color versions of a HoverDesk theme by Honz12 and the blue one is downloaded 10 times as much as the green and red versions.

Well, it's that aqua shade of blue. I wasn't even going to bother with it, but I felt too Christmas-y just creating a green and a red

True blue color is not that yucky "aqua" color. "Aqua" is a bastardization of true blue and I for one will never have it or anything named "aqua" on my computer.

Who was it that submitted a total crap wall with a specific XP/Aqua-esque name just to test how popular it would become and saw it skyrocket up the charts?

Old Crab, I can see where you got that nickname (the "crab" part, anyway). I think the aqua color gained popularity because it's easier to read black text on it than on a more "standard" blue. I agree, though; I'm not too fond of the shade either.
Crae, from the looks of things, a LOT of people have submitted total crap walls with an XP/Aqua name. (Well, relatively ... I'm sure the stuff that doesn't get in is even worse; and there are SOME good wall with XP/Aqua names.)
