I'm aggravated

Thursday, May 30, 2002 by davad70 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

This is a quote from Frogboy taken from the following news item. https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&NewsID=943

Similarly, I don''t see how skin authors think that they are doing the site a favor by allowing the site to HOST the skins.

So...is this the attitude of the mojority of the people in leadership postions here (admins/wizops) or is it just Frogboy?

pick a line and spit on it, go ahed..you just got me really pissed off. I agree with Davad70 who started this, it's the bunch in leadership positions that keep crawling and covering up. It sucks. There...Well done JAFO

Lecrayon - would you please gather your thoughts and post them together in one post! There's nothing more annoying than checking a thread for new posts to find that the same person is essentially talking to themselves. This is not a flame. It's just that when I think a discussion is in progress (by seeing that there are a few new posts) in a thread, I'm disappointed to find otherwise.

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Lecrayon...denigrating Australians with the phrase "I don't blame you, after all you are an Ozzie" smacks of racial slur.
It would be wise to temper such comment with a smiley at least.

I didn't blame you if you didn't know where you can find registration rules in the US, you live in Australia, Better? And delete thisd thread too please. It's just as much crap as the others where I have written in.

Lecrayon, your comments about our company are not correct.
Telling ChiChiGirl "And one more thing, one chichi girl more or
less, the company really doesn't care." Is just not right. I
have given ChiChiGirl my personal email address and try to help
her whenever I can. I have also suggested that anyone on this
board that needs product help email me directly. The comment
about OD is incorrect, also. If you would have read T-Mans post
last week that was labeled "need volunteers", you would see that
he is making a way to link your WC account with you Stardock
account in the future. This will allow for "user access" levels. I don't
remember exactly what it is (so don't quote me on this), but it
is something like:
1) Non-registered user (lowest access)
2) registered user (will have limited downloads)
3) Purchased Stardock Products (has unlimited downloads) (I
think this also has the Apprentice level users in this category,
but not sure)
4) WinCustomize subscriber (has full benefits of the site)

So, as you can see, we are trying to make it as fair as
possible.

But, back on topic, I truly believe that this site needs the
skinners, and the skinners need this site. *But*, the "hosting"
comments are quite different. Hosting is extremely
expensive, and that is why the subscriptions have come into
play. Don't forget, the subscription also includes SkinBrowser,
which is pretty darn neat!
