cursorFX pro
Monday, July 16, 2012 by snake108 | Discussion: Stardock Central Support
Just purchased Cursor FX pro and when i set a cursor it works fine, but when i shut down or re-boot the cursor reverts to original W7 cursor. This means every time i restart windows 7 i have to set cursor again if i want to use cursorFX. There is nothing in settings of cursor FX to stop this happening. I feel as though i have wasted money on this application. Would appreciate some help on this .

Did you install on the main OS drive and did you run the installer as Admin?

May be a permissions issue. CursorFX uses this file to store its current theme:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\CursorFX\CurrentTheme.CursorFX
It's possible it can't write that file properly, so it can't reload something that was only in memory before.

Do this, it may help. Uninstall cursorfx. Use CCleaner to clean up any left over files then re-install cursorfx and set it to start when you boot up. That may be the reason you're having this problem.
