Restart

Friday, July 13, 2012 by LizMarr | Discussion: Stardock Central Support

I think that someone left something out of the program. I was installing a couple programs from SC that were actually already installed but didn't show up on the list. While it did its thing I was working with my personal (as opposed to junk and email lists) email and all of a sudden my computer rebooted. No warning, just a reboot as the SC seemed to be done with something. My computer never reboots blind for any reason, at least not up to now. I am a little upset that it did it while my email POP program was sorting mail. I still have no clue if anything was lost.

Could someone check to tell me if there is even a code that tells it to pause and ask if it is going to reboot? It asks before downloading updates.

Email support so we can see what you were installing at the time of the reboot.  I'll poke the devs about this in any case.

LOL. I need support so seldom I have no idea where to find the address - but I'm looking.

Oops, I made one of those ticket things. Do I need to recompose?
