Where do I install icons from WinCustomize for OD+?
Sunday, June 10, 2012 by Dan Dunn | Discussion: Docks
Hi -
I've downloaded some png files which contain icons (https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/15208/) I've tried installing them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock Plus\Bundled Images\Applications & C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock Plus\Bundled Images\Misc Icons. When I choose to edit the icon for a OD+ icon, these new ones do not appear as choices.
Where do these downloads need to be installed?
Thx in advance,
Dan

That may be true for XP, but I'm running Win7 ... Sorry I failed to mention this.

The one you linked to isn't perfectly square. Try editing the file to make it 512x512 and see if that helps.

probably is not so important where you are keeping the icons but is more important to browse to them
right click on the icon you already have on the dock (the Gmail in your case) click on "Customize this icon"
the dialog window will appear then browse to the right folder !
