LogonXP 2.0 util vs LogonStudio 0.90 util for XP startup?
Monday, December 31, 2001 by Amerasu | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
LogonStudio 0.90 is now the default XP logon utility right, not LogonXP2.0 right?
When are .logon screens or .logonxp files going to be made available, (because I have had no success thus far in coverting any logonui.exe files to .logonxp format nor finding any .logon files to rename to .logonxp format).
Anyone having sucess with this process?
thx,
ash

There is a section on it already at deviantart.com, however, there is only 1 skin thus far and the guy who posted a skin admits that he can't get it to work with LogonStudio 0.90 correctly--->
"Description:
This is port from one of my submissions in photography.
I couldn't get the import/export to work with LogonStudio .90 beta, but it'll work if you just unzip this into the logonstudio folder."
I guess I am just a little wary since there are 244 working LogonXP2.0 skins at deviantart.com and 1 quasi-working LS 0.90 skin.

Frogboy, do you know if the new build of LS will support batch file conversion of the old file types? I have about 60 or so of them now and that's a LOT of mouseclicking if it doesn't.
thanks

I must be an incredible dolt. I've worked through the program with due care and diligence, specifying each option to the best of my knowledge, creating appropriatly sized images and using the default logons as a guide. Simple, no?
Apparantly not, since I've yet to create a viable logon. Everything I create with this app. fails spectacularly. 6 attempts = 6 failures. Wheee! this is fun.
