Stardock Store and serials not valid

Hi there,

 

OK, we have to install apps whixh we download from Stardock Store now, BUT as i wanted to install Skinstudio 5 Pro , I was told that the serail (given on the store) is not valid, and that "it seems that WB is not installed on my machine" or something like that ...

 

What kind of new joke is it ??? I Want to install THIS version of SkinStudio even if there's also the SkinStudio 7 Pro version.

I paid for it, as well as so many versions we can't install anymore, and that version has a particular feature which is working with an older version of IconDeveloper to let recolor icons the way user want to (which is not the case with last versions ...)

Though there's no way of troubleshooting the support team that time as the self installor is already existing !!!! (or no other bad reason at all ...)

I just want a serial wich activate effectivly this version. I think it may be easy to do nope ??

neophil78 ....this is something you need to contact [email protected] via email.  The response will be THE response, whether it satisfies your request or not.

The issue certainly does NOT warrant yet another thread and/or forum comment as the ONLY resolution, if any will be coming from Stardock Support.

Let's make this the LAST time the issue is raised here....

SkinStudio 5 was not designed with WB7 in mind so it is quite possible the old installer has no idea that a WB install exists.

These types of things are better handled through support.

It is highly unlikely that anyone in the forums will be able to help you.

Anyway, a valid serial has been send to me (thanks again to Support)

And btw, perhaps SkinStudio 5 has not been realized with WB7 in mind but it's fairly good as well for some "oldies XP skins" as for the "fully recoloration" that i was taking about.

 

Of course it's surely something that it has to be corrected by the Support team, but this is also surely something's that other members may have to know ...
