Need help with WB configuration

Thursday, October 28, 2004 by Lady Aarielle | Discussion: Stardock Software

Does anyone know how to delete repeated sets of toolbar icons in "WindowBlinds" configuration?

I have some that are repeated up to six times and others that display the name and designer but the icons simply never loaded.

Every instance of a toolbar set is there because of the windowblind skin that it came with. If you are comfortable with it, you can open a skin in SkinStudio and delete the toolbar set for a skin. Afterwards, by default the standard XP toolbar icons will show unless you configure a specific set to show when a skin doesn't include them.

Essencay , actually I was hoping there was some simple "delete this" type fix.... so that I could just keep one of each.

I'm not brave enough to go messing around with skins in Skin Studio.

Thanks for your reply, anyway.

I normally just go trough all the folders in the WindowBlinds directory, and delete any toolbar, and animation files that shouldn't be there..... but I can't think of an easy way to explain how you would know what to delete......... maybe I'll come up with a method if I think about it. Koasati thinks .......  ouch!
