How to turn off skin morphing

Sunday, October 3, 2004 by joetheblow | Discussion: Stardock Software

Does anyone know how to turn off skin morphing from one skin to another? My system can't take it.

There has to be a way to turn it off. sometimes, mysystem crashes.

I haven't tried it yet but maybe if I uninstall Windowblinds and reinstall it it won't crash or hang on skin change.

In Wb configuration you will see an option.. UI settings. Click on that and then you will see that you can turn off the fading. V 4.4

NT... That option is for the User Interface, and is for "Fade betweenskin previews" in the cofig dialog. I think joe is asking about the morphing when you change skins, a horse of a different color.

As usual, I can't find the info, but I think morphing only occurs if you change skins via WB Config. Try using the Display properties. (or maybe it's the other way around) I can't test it, because morphing does happening with dual monitors.

ok guys. thanks. For me it does it rom both the display properties and the WindowBlinds config.

I figured a way around it, slightly, and that is to unload windowblinds and then reload it.. That seems to be a temperaty solution.

I am probably having this problem because I only have 256RAM and it need more RAM on my system.
