Trying to help a user with one of my blinds
Tuesday, September 28, 2004 by Ingui | Discussion: Stardock Software
I received this email from someone who downloaded my Iocaste WB. I would like to help them out with an answer and also understand for myself what the problem is and how it might be fixed. But I am not entirely sure what the problem is and definately not sure WHY it is.
I am assuming "edonkey" is a chat app? Maybe it cant be fixed and "edonkey" simply needs to be excluded? Any help is appreciated.
"Hi there,
beautiful blue-gray skin I love it !!!!
I experienced a minor drawback wich consists in Iocaste failing to properly skin my P2P client main window when it is maximized. I miss the whole upper half window bar with the buttons , while , when I reduce the size of the window , it is correctly skinned. It seems that this application has its own "borders" that Iocaste can't trespass. Do you know a way to fix it? Will you produce a skin update?
I hope I managed to explain my problem cleary enough as English is not my language and I may lack in terms.
Anyway I thank you so much for your work ,your time, and I hope to hear from you soon, if you will be able to fix this problem!"
Ciao for now.
Jason

Edonkey is not a chat app - its a file'shareing' app.
What causes Edonkey to behave like this I dont know, but a temporary fix would be to exclude it from the WB config.
