Curious Stardock Central Question

Do you need to have "auto-archive on application update" checked? The last time installed it I just checked it but am noticing when you update takes twice as long. Was just wondering if this was something really necessary to do? Any thoughts?

If you check it, it will keep all your installed programs zipped up and backed up on your puter.

Personnally, I don't bother. I have high speed so when I need to reinstall (following a reformat or new machine aquisition) I just redownload everything I need.

I do the same as well. So, I will just uncheck it, will save time updating. Thanks paxx.
