Cursor XP not showing up as loaded in Stardock Central

I have Stardock Central which regularly reminds me to updtae things, however, it shows that Cursor XP (which I've purchased) is not loaded. Do I need to unload and reload through SC to see it properly? Also I can't tell which version I'm running (1.3?) through the configuration screen (the only discernable program I can find under that app).

And Hus is correct..... Component Manager is history, SDC is the replacement.

WinStyles has been replaced with ThemeManager. That's all I can think of at the moment.

You can also find CursorXP under "Misc" in SDC.

How do you install CursorXP Plus through SDC?
SDC only gives me the option of "Downloading" the free version - not "Installing" the Plus version. I had already downloaded the Plus version right after I paid for it.
ObjectDock Plus which I had also paid for and already installed independently had the choice of "Installing" in Stardock Central.

i had the opposite.
do you see Objectdock plus ion the theme manager list of programs?
i installed objectdock plus through SDC and dont see it in theme manager.
i didnt download and install the regular objectdock, so i get an error when a suite has a dock in it.

You need to enter you registration information from the confirmation email you got when you bought the program

Hi Essencay, I found the place to enter the SN for my Cursor XP. Thanks.
Hi Figureouter. When you are in Stardock Central:
1. Click on Tools up at the top left
2. Select Register Products
3. Select Miscellaneous in the left window of the Registration page
4. Click on the down arrow in the Product combo box
5. Click on ObjectDock Plus
6. Enter your email information (if it's blank) and your Serial Number info
7. Click on Register
If registration was successful, close the confirmation window, hit OK to close the Registration window
8. Select Misc in the left side window
9. ObjectDock Plus should now have "Install" as the selection in the Action field
10. Click on Install and it should install it and show that it is installed.

I do my best.
I'm a technical writer so I tend to be very specific (and wordy). I've noticed sometimes, on the responses to people requesting help, that the "veterans" are so used to how to do things that they give very short criptic answers and forget that us newbies don't know how to drill down to do things.

my problem isnt that i dont see thse as installed in DCS.
i dont see them in Theme Manager.
i did install as you said (registered od+, exited, installed it.)
when i go to TM, i dont see any objectdock in Theme Manager.
i do see some other prgrams i have insatlled, such as Logon, bootskin.
i installed nestart3 and workshelf also, but TN doesnt see them.
i looked into the applications.ini file in the TM directory, and there are entries for those programs there.
so, i dont know why TM doesnt see them.

Hi figureouter. I'm sorry I misunderstood your question. TM doesn't see my OD+ either. I don't know what to tell you.
However, my TM doesn't look like the one in the tutorial. I have the latest update as of yesterday (2.11.027) but my TM doesn't have the same left-side pane showing the "Available Suites", "Create Suite", and "Settings" options. It just lists the available programs in the left pane - but not OD+.
I saw somewhere in another thread that someone else's TM didn't look the same as the tutorial but now I can't find it to see if there was an answer to their problem.
I uninstalled the free versions of everything (and rebooted several times) before I installed ObjectDesktop, so I don't know if I still have the free version showing or not.

For some reason for me, it won't let me install the Cursor XP folder in my Stardock folder, only in Program Files.

CursorXP installs in Program Files - not Stardock, if you want it to show up as installed in Stardock Central (therefore in the Stardock directory) see my answer to figureouter in #10 above - just substitute what I said about OD+ with CursorXP in each instance (they are both in each of the Miscellaneous sections I refer to).
When you are done CursorXP should show up as installed in SDC and in the Stardock directory. It will still show up in its own Program Files directory as well.

SDC doesn't see programs it didn't install. So if you installed CXP outside of SDC that's why it doesn't show. 1.3 is the latest version. To check, open Mouse Properties > CursorXP tab, and click the About CursorXP link.
