can anyone tell me why such low rating? hints and tips?

my newest logon which i like most has the lowest rating of all my submitions... can anyone tell me why its so low? thanks and i know im supposed to email someone high and mighty but i dont have time to do that i just want everyones opinoin and dont wanna get slaughtered in "General Discusions" so im posting it in this Help section.

And your newest logon is? If you mean the Nuke lime logon then, well In my honest opinion the rating is pretty high for the quality. Is the copyright signature part of the logon? I didn't download it. If yes I suggest you remove it. Just telling you how I see it. Don't be too offended.

OK.... I took the time to check it, curiousity getting the better of me. I'm with NT, I think the rating is too high. I'm a little surprised it was accepted. ...... that's my opinion.

Well I checked it out and I think its awful if I am giving my honest opinion. The copyright is totally unneccessary or should be smaller, there are jagged lines all over.
I think it deserves the low rating it has.
Despite how I feel about it, everyones tastes do differ and some may like it.

Did you save you image in 8 bits or what? I didn't download it, so is it only the preview that's so bad or is it the actual logon too?
To better your chances of increasing your rating:
1- Remove the copyright notice
2- Save the images in full colors (at least 24 bits). Logons are not limited to 8 bits the way Bootskins are.

hehe thanks, im working on it. the reason its so bad is because the original picture is 220 pixels x 220 pixels so i was just messin around with it... i will improve it as soon as i ahve time cuz this weekend is knda taken so i think around monday the new one should be up. thanks all for the input )
